T.I. is a rapper, actor, the man who made Iggy Azalea famous. He's just tried his hand being a political pundit too — and he should never, ever do that again. While former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is gathering support from stars including Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian, she certainly won't be getting an endorsement from the "Paperwork" rapper. He feels women can hold some important positions, sure, but they can't handle being the leader of the free world. That's no job for a lady! Let him (poorly) explain.

In a sit-down interview with DJ Whoo Kid, he said, "Not to be sexist but, I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman." Well, why not? “Just because, every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. But the president?"

T.I. then preceded to say, with a straight face, "It’s kinda like, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally – they make very permanent, cemented decisions – and then later, it’s kind of like it didn’t happen, or they didn’t mean for it to happen. And I sure would hate to just set off a nuke." WOMEN! So moody, every last one — even post-reproductive aged ones like Hillary Clinton, by T.I.'s based-on-his-own-anecdotal-evidence estimation.

Unfortunately, T.I. wasn't done. "[Other leaders] will not be able to negotiate the right kinds of foreign policy; the world ain’t ready yet. I think you might be able to get the Loch Ness Monster elected before you could [get a woman].” Someone needs to tell T.I. that women have held chief office in many, many other countries, and according to a Pew Research study, the United States actually lags behind other nations in terms of female leadership. Other countries are actually wondering why we haven't caught up yet.

Like some other Americans, T.I. also of the belief that Donald Trump's business acumen makes him a solid candidate. "He’s interesting and I feel he's the best showman of them all. And I do feel that if he is sincerely concerned about the economy of America and the working public, he would be the best person to flip the money that we have." A recent study of Trump's hard-to-pin-down worth determined that he'd actually have the same amount if he'd just placed the enormous inheritance he received from his dad into an index fund — so his "best person" credentials are up for debate. A lawyer also claimed that Trump allegedly had a red-faced, screaming "absolute meltdown" back in 2011 when she requested a brief meeting break to breast-pump. Is that behavior "emotional" enough for you, T.I.?

The rapper did say Trump's "racist remarks and all of his off-color statements" are cause for concern. You can watch the interview, in which he also likens rapper (and rumored Rihanna love interest) Travis Scott to Iggy Azalea, below.

Update: After no doubt reading the thousands of incensed responses on Twitter, T.I. tweeted an apology this afternoon.
