Streaming platform TIDAL pledges to send 200,000 pounds worth of supplies to those affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

According to The FADER, TIDAL is partnering with New York governor Andrew Cuomo to fill a large cargo plane with the help of Fat Joe, Angie Martinez and Romeo Santos.

“My heart goes out to every single individual that has suffered as a result of this Hurricane,” Fat Joe said in a press release. “Watching from the sidelines has been heartbreaking - let’s fill that plane and help our brothers and sisters! Even the smallest contribution will go a long way.”

TIDAL also updated their Instagram with call to action posts encouraging people to donate at local donation centers throughout New York.

"By October 5th, we must fill this plane with supplies to aid disaster relief in Puerto Rico," TIDAL said. "We can only do it with YOUR help."

In addition to these efforts, TIDAL also announced their benefit relief concert TIDAL x Brooklyn featuring some of today's biggest musical acts such as Fifth Harmony, Cardi B, Jay-Z and more. The concert will be held on October 17 at Barclays Center in New York and all net proceeds will go towards those affected.
