Tim McGraw delivered an emotional performance of the Oscar-nominated song "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" from Glen Campbell… I'll Be Me at the 2015 Oscars tonight (Feb. 22).

The moving track -- which Campbell wrote for his wife and children upon being diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease -- fit McGraw's voice perfectly, and he performed the track with genuine feeling and an effortless finesse.

Performing solo on stage, McGraw (donning a tuxedo and a black cowboy hat) gave the performance an intimate feel -- truly, the only way to sing such an emotional and heart-wrenching song.

"I'm never gonna hold you like I did / Or say I love you to the kids," the country legend sang on the heartbreaking tune. "You're never gonna see it in my eyes / It's not gonna hurt me when you cry / I'm never gonna know what you go through / All the things I say or do."

"All the hurt and all the pain / One thing selfishly remains," he continued on the poignant chorus. "I'm not gonna miss you / I'm not gonna miss you."
