Timbaland Releases Mixtape Including New Track ‘Slayin’ With Aaliyah

Timbaland fulfilled his promise to put out a new mixtape for free on Christmas Day yesterday with the release of King Stays King. King Stays King is the rapper-producer's first mixtape and is a prelude to his much-anticipated album, Opera Noir.

King Stays King contains 17 previously unreleased tracks, including a collaboration with Aaliyah titled "Shakin," which never saw the light of day until now. Timbaland and Aaliyah frequently collaborated before the young singer's untimely death in 2001.

Other guest appearances on the mixtape include tracks with Migos, Yo Gotti, 2 Chainz and Tink.
