Tina Fey Hopes Taylor Swift Writes a Song About Her
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler scored some pretty big laughs when they teased Taylor Swift about her crowded dating history during the Golden Globes a couple of weeks ago, but Swift's fans were not amused -- and even though Swift seems to have put it all behind her, Fey knows there's always a chance she could end up joining the ranks of Swift song subjects.
The topic came up during Fey's recent interview with Access Hollywood, when the show's Shaun Robinson reminded Fey of her role in the miniature social media feud-like thing that erupted after Fey and Poehler warned Swift to stay away from Michael J. Fox's son Sam -- and Fox played along, later describing her as someone who "writes songs about everybody she goes out with" and joking, "What a way to build a career."
Fey brought it all back down to earth during her chat with Access Hollywood, saying, "I just feel like it was just a little joke, like two of your aunts, two of your old lady aunts teasing you at the Thanksgiving table, that’s all it was."
Reminded that she could end up being the focus of a Swift song, Fey welcomed the opportunity with open arms. "I hope so. I would love it!"
So there you have it, Taylor: The gauntlet has been thrown. What rhymes with "Golden Globes" and "Sam Fox"?
