London MC Tinie Tempah burst onto the scene with his song 'Written in the Stars,' and he recently chatted with AMP Radio about the modern chanteuses he'd like to work with, as well as the artists who've influenced him. He apparently has a thing for the female divas, since fellow Brit Adele and Swedish pop star Robyn top his list of dream collaborators.

"I really want to collaborate with Adele. I think she is incredible. I really want to collaborate with Robyn. I think she is incredible. Lykke Li is incredible,” Tinie says. But he’s not just female-centric. He also says he'd like to work with Kanye West, who is a "genius," as well as Muse! Tinie Tempah may be known for 'Written in the Stars,' but he is shooting for the stars with his guest list hopes!

He also talks about American rappers who have influenced him. Tinie really dug DMX back in the day, before X was riddled with all the legal troubles that have drug him down in recent years. "He was one of the rappers that kind of got me into hip-hop. He had those party anthems," Tinie says. "I was a big fan of Eminem ... Big fan of Nas. Obviously nowadays it's more like Jay-Z and Drake and Lil Wayne and Kanye. But yeah, I’ve always been a fan of listening to American rap.”

The chatty MC was candid about the positive meaning behind his hit song. "'Written in the Stars' is more like a self-affirmation and struggle. It’s kind of like talking about how things have gone recently and how the stars have aligned and how fate has taken its course," he says.

Tinie Tempah also shares some words of wisdom for aspiring rappers out there. "At the end of every verse I'm kind of like, 'But before all of this happened I was just that kid that's just trying to be heard'," he explains. "That's why you just got to keep on shouting, keep on making sure that you know people hear you out because you never know what's waiting around the corner."
