Top 40 Pop Songs – October 2012

PopCrush is rounding up the Top 40 Pop Songs for the month of October to let you know what’s hot this fall! Our list is based off of what we think is going to be taking over the charts in October. We ranked the songs based on what’s trending, reader favorites, and overall listener reception.

Artists with a notable presence on our list this month are Taylor Swift, Psy, and Maroon 5. Taylor Swift comes in twice on our list this month with her new single 'Begin Again' and her huge hit 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.' Psy's fun dance hit 'Gangnam Style' became a huge international sensation this past month, but it couldn't surpass Maroon 5's successful single 'One More Night' for the No. 1 spot on our list.

New singles added to our Top 40 Pop Songs List for October 2012 are Rihanna's 'Diamonds' as well as One Direction's 'Live While We're Young.' Also featured is Christina Aguilera's 'Your Body' which will be featured on her new album 'Lotus' out next month (Nov. 13).
