    'Say Yeah'

Khalifa's first single, 'Say Yeah,' actually featured Eurodance elements, thanks to a sample from the 1999 Alice Deejay club hit 'Better Off Alone.' The fresh-faced newcomer rapped about living large and spending his money as fast as he got it: "Hell no, I ain't countin' my dough, I came to blow it all / And do my thing, trying to find Miss Know-it-All." The 2008 track was Khalifa's only notable release for Warner Bros. Records.

    'The Race'

Lots of rappers like to brag about their money, but Khalifa did so on 'The Race' while putting things into proper perspective. The song is about his experience starting from the bottom and working his way up, overcoming challenges and doubters along the way. "I’m in a race, and taking the winner's place," he raps. "No foot on the brakes / One of the best, homie thats what they call me / It’s lonely at the top, ain't no company so / Now I just stunt on my own."

    'Roll Up'

Wiz showed he wasn't afraid to show his sensitive side with 'Roll Up,' the second hit single from 'Rolling Papers.' The Norwegian production team Stargate helped the rapper put together this top Wiz Khalifa song, which boasts a sunny, chilled-out R&B vibe with Wiz crooning the chorus. He put his own signature on the tune when he promised his shorty, "Whenever you call, baby, I'll roll up," a touching sentiment that also slyly references the rapper's well-known love of cannabis.

    'Black and Yellow'

Wiz had the good fortune of releasing 'Black and Yellow' at the same time the Pittsburgh Steelers were making a run in the NFL playoffs. Steeler fans adopted the song as the team marched toward the Super Bowl, and Khalifa found himself performing the song at Heinz Field during a playoff game. The rapper's first major-label single, 'Black and Yellow' also served to introduce Wiz to the mainstream music world. "Everything I do, I do it big," he promises, and he is right -- before long, the song was No. 1 on Billboard.
