Listen to Tori Kelly’s Emotional ‘Colors of the Wind’ Cover

Tori Kelly was only two-years-old when Disney's Pocahontas hit theaters in 1995, but the movie's most famous song "Colors of the Wind" resonated with her anyway.

Tori covered the track as part of the upcoming compilation album We Love Disney, and her version starts off as a soft, emotional invitation driven by an acoustic guitar before Tori's masterful vocals come in strong and end on a powerful crescendo.

The decision to cover “Colors of the Wind” above all other Disney songs stemmed from a childhood obsession with the movie. She said, "I wanted to do ‘Colors of the Wind' from the movie Pocahontas because as a kid that was my favorite movie growing up. I was all decked out in the Pocahontas outfit for Halloween, I had the Pocahontas mug, I was just obsessed with the movie so I thought it’d be cool to do 'Colors of the Wind.'"

Tori’s Disney cover comes on the heels of Jessie J’s breathy “Part of Your World” rendition and Lucy Hale’s reworking of Frozen’s massively successful "Let It Go.”
