California pop-rock band Train is back with yet another catchy single in 'Save Me, San Francisco,' and though it has been 14 years since we met them and Virginia with 'Meet Virginia,' they haven't failed us yet.

This new tune is no exception to the base rules the band seems to follow: Singable chorus, quirky lyrics, groovy music = hit song. In 'Save Me San Francisco,' singer Pat Monahan begs and pleads to be taken back to California and the Golden Gate:

"I never knew all that I had / Now Alcatraz doesn't sound so bad / At least they have a hell of a fine Merlot / If I could wish upon a star / I would hitch a cable car / To the place that I can always call my own."

But really, it's not the street corner coffee shops and ocean views he's searching for, it's a San Fran lady that he's after.

Single after single, Monahan brings us fun and clever lines -- something you don't hear everyday in pop music. 'Save Me, San Francisco' is the fourth single and the title track off of the band's latest record, following their monstrous hit, 'Hey, Soul Sister.'
