Casual fans of Travie McCoy may have noticed that he's been laying low these days — he hasn't dropped a solo single since 2014's "Keep On Keeping On" with Panic! at the Disco's Brendon Urie. The Gym Class Heroes frontman returns today (June 15) with another upbeat jam: "Golden" featuring Sia.

Where does Sia find the time? In just the past month, we've heard her stunning version of "California Dreamin'" for San Andreas, her emotional Bleachers cover and her Dancing With the Stars "Elastic Heart" performance — and those are just a few of her projects. The Aussie singer-songwriter sounds as perfect as ever here, and her chorus reflects the elated vibe of McCoy's verses.

The "Golden" video finds McCoy stuck in something of a time-loop, exiting his car in a traffic jam to walk a dusty stretch of desert road. As he passes various eccentric motorists — a leathery rich couple drinking bubbly in a limo, a photo-happy tourist, some girl playing dominoes — Travie raps about the things that only matter when you're crushing hard: "For the sake of being overly cheesy / I think it's cute we both like our eggs over easy."

As the singer-rapper walks by the same vehicles several times, the scene starts to get more festive, leading to a visual climax that's possibly occuring solely in McCoy's lovesick head. You can watch the video for "Golden" above.
