Travie McCoy has announced his first-ever solo headlining North American tour, which kicks off March 17 in Toronto before heading to Montreal and then hitting Philadelphia on March 19. The tour then spends the next few weeks crisscrossing the US, ending in Seattle, Wash. Apr. 3.

The Gym Class Heroes frontman has closely adhered to the showbiz adage, "If you're gonna steal, steal from the best," by naming the tour 'Sgt. Schlepper's Who Needs Hearts Club Band.' It's a creative but clear homage to the legendary Beatles and their 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club' album.

The tour follows on the heels of McCoy's successful debut solo album, 'Lazarus,' which finds the singer taking advantage of a planned three year hiatus from the Gym Class Heroes. The album has already spawned the double-platinum hit 'Billionaire,' which features a guest spot from Bruno Mars.
