Travis Kelce Spends Hours Selecting Game Day Outfits

Travis Kelce needs "at least three hours" to select a game day outfit.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who is believed to be dating pop megastar Taylor Swift, has revealed that it takes him an age to sort through his clothing collection prior to an NFL game.

Travis told the Wall Street Journal: "I kind of just (choose what to wear) off of instinct.

"It really just goes down to the wire. I kind of enjoy the creative process of the panic to just throw something together."

The sports star explained that he has converted a bedroom into his home to hold more than 300 pairs of sneakers and "impulse" buys from luxury retailers Farfetch and Ssense.

Travis added that he opts for clothes that "will put a smile on somebody's face."

He said: "Obviously, not every look is for everybody. I'm not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans. It is what it is, I'm gonna have fun with it."

The NFL star, 34, has been mocked for some of his fashion choices as fans likened the brown trousers he wore recently to the curtains used by Taylor to promote her Midnights album.

One user quipped on Twitter: "AWE, did Taylor make him some pants?"

Another added: "What if he was Taylor's background all along."

However, Kelce has always been conscious of what he wears on the field, dating back to when he was a child in Cleveland.

He recalled: "Playing a sport growing up, like I always wanted to wear a headband, I always wanted to have a certain pair of shoes."
