"My name is Branch, and I'm a troll."

Justin Timberlake's purple-nosed creature is the first troll we meet in the trailer for Trolls, trailer, DreamWorks Animation's film about the ugly-cute dolls first invented in 1959. If, as a child, you ever found yourself idly combing out a troll's hair while wondering, "what's it's origin story, though?" you're finally in luck! The trailer does look pretty dang cute, though, and nice job on that glitter animation at 00:49.

Branch is the sullen counterpart to Anna Kendrick's interminably perky Poppy, who makes her debut to (a cover of?) Junior Senior's "Move Your Feet," followed by Timberlake's own Trolls anthem/summer anthem, "Can't Stop the Feeling!" The titular trolls are tormented by a huge monster — their Gargamel, if you will — and embark on an adventure that includes dancing with psychedelic flowers and a trip to the roller disco.

Zooey Deschanel, Russell Brand, Quvenzhané Wallis and even Gwen Stefani add their voices to the cast, and the movie's set for a November 4 release.
