Despite the title, Troye Sivan's new single 'Happy Little Pill' isn't all that happy. The song has a melancholic moodiness to it and the video follows suit with cloudy filters and solitudinous imagery.

Of course, none of the above is a drawback. It's an artistic video for a song that, though it may be gloomy, is a chill, pleasing single all the same. It's not one that you'll sing along or dance to, but it has a great vibe for someone looking for a well-written tune to sit back and relax with.

"I'm soooo excited to be able to share with you the Happy Little Pill music videooooo," Troye wrote on his Tumblr. "Hope you punks like it and share it with your mates and make gifs of the radical owl. Making this video perfectly represent the song and it’s message was super important to me, and i hope you guys connect with it as much as i do. Also there is a hot boy in it playing soccer. enjoy!!"

The 19-year-old is a triple-threat with his resume checking off the boxes for actor, YouTube personality and singer-songwriter. In 2009 he landed a role in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine,' and just this summer he scored a record deal with Universal Music. 'Happy Little Pill' is the second single, following 'The Fault in Our Stars,' off of his debut EP 'TRXYE,' available for download now.
