Celebrity Fight: A Day In The Life of Tyler Tussle

Tyler, the Creator is a controversial artist and his lyrical signature is often times portraying very violent scenes, including rape, in addition to using homophobic slurs and deragatory terms towards women.

Sara Quinn, one half of the indie-pop, sister duo Tegan and Sara, took up issue with this and posted a lengthy letter condemning Tyler's use of such harsh words. Many critics praise Tyler as a genius and while there is no denying his production prowess, Quinn was not about to let his choice of words slide.

She wrote, "As journalists and colleagues defend, excuse and congratulate ‘Tyler, the Creator,’ I find it impossible not to comment. In any other industry would I be expected to tolerate, overlook and find deeper meaning in this kid’s sickening rhetoric? Why should I care about this music or its “brilliance” when the message is so repulsive and irresponsible?"

In Tyler's typically vulgar manner, he responded to Quinn with a tweet that read, "If Tegan And Sara Need Some Hard D---, Hit Me Up!"

Point Goes To: Tegan and Sara for standing up for what they believe in.
