Usher gave a subdued yet effective performance of his ubiquitous ballad 'Climax' at the BET Awards 2012. The song became Usher's 12th No. 1 hit of his career and, undoubtedly, is one of the biggest songs of the year.

Before Usher sang the song he asked the audience, "Can I sing for you?" The crowd responded with a roaring "Yes." Usher then began his vocal performance of the tender ballad without utilizing his backing band.

There was no lip-syncing here -- just Usher's powerful falsetto serenading the audience who were joyously cheering and waving their hands. Dressed in all-black that included a tank top, black pants and red boots, Usher did a phenomenal job conveying heartbreaking tale of a love affair that has reached it peak and is now done.
