Beyonce has been confirmed as a headliner for the 2013 V Festival, giving the annual British music event some major star power. Among those joining her on the lineup are Calvin Harris, Jessie J, Kings of Leon and fun.

The 2013 edition of V takes places on Aug. 17-18, and with Bey onboard, you can bet that tickets will sell out in no time. The V Fest historically favors rock bands, but this year's bill is loaded with pop music, including established acts like Jason Mraz and Ellie Goulding, plus rising stars like Olly Murs, Rita Ora, Kendrick Lamar, Lianne La Havas, Emeli Sande and Jessie Ware.

Festival directors Bob Angus, Simon Moran and Dennis Desmond said in a statement, "We’ve worked hard to bring fans an exciting and diverse line-up. Securing Beyonce for an exclusive European Festival appearance and Kings of Leon as headliners is a great achievement. These acts, along with one of the strongest bills in V Festival's 18-year history, is something we are very proud of. We have a reputation for bringing fans the best world class acts and breakthrough artists; 2013 is set to be another sensational year."

Tickets go on sale March 1 and additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Check out the entire lineup below.
