‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Ian Somerhalder Wishes Fans a Bloody Season’s Greetings [PHOTO]

Ian Somerhalder, who plays Damon on ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ shared a blood-covered photo of himself with fans, bringing new meaning to a nightmare before Christmas.

The photo itself was posted on Instagram, with Somerhalder captioning the bloody disgusting shot, “Season’s Greetings from Damon The Red-Nosed Reindeer Ripper…”

Would it be safe to say that he’s setting out to slay this Christmas?

Of course this isn’t the first time that Somerhalder’s work has frightened people. He previously left work still slightly covered in blood and spent his time at the gas station getting some serious side-eye from bystanders.

Something tells us he does this on purpose. And enjoys it.
