Weezer are literally giving their fans a chance to have fun on an 'Island in the Sun' in January 2012, when the first Weezer cruise sets sail from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico.

Cruise-themed company Sixthman and the band announced the four-night excursion on the Carnival Destiny, which runs from Jan. 19-23, 2012. All attendees get a photo with the band and will witness two Weezer concerts, as well as performances from a host of other rock bands, including Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoah, Wavves and the Antlers.

One of the Weezer shows will be an intimate indoor performance, while the other will be outdoors on the lido deck. How cool would it be to see a talented live band like Weezer on the open ocean?

The most affordable accommodations start at $599 plus $179 for taxes and fees for those willing to share a four-person cabin. The price covers all onboard concerts, food and non-alcoholic drinks. Payment plans are available, with a $199 deposit required to secure a spot on the ship.

Guests must be 21 or be accompanied by a guardian. Tickets are available starting on July 19 at theweezercruise.com.
