File this one under rumors we're taking with a huge grain of salt. The same guy who claims to be the biological father of Blanket now claims that Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston were once romantically involved.

Radar Online reports that Matt Fiddes spoke to The Sun about the two fallen pop legends' love connection. "Whitney practically moved in to Michael’s ranch and they had a fling like any other young couple," Fiddes said. "But Michael said later he had always hoped the relationship had gone further, and I know he dreamed of marrying her."

Unfortunately for MJ, the relationship apparently only lasted two weeks, likely due to the demons that plagued both superstars. "They were both a mess, to be honest," Fiddes said. He claims they reunited briefly at a 2001 concert honoring Jackson. "They shared what would be their final hugs and Michael begged Whitney to get off the drugs that were destroying her life," Fiddes said. “The two of them whispered that they loved each other as they hugged. The emotion was written all over their faces.”

Part of why we're not sure what to believe? Houston was also reportedly linked to Jackson's brother Jermaine, with sources claiming that Michael was one of very few who knew about their relationship. We're not sure how that sitch could get any more awkward!
