Since Whitney Houston's death nearly four months ago, there has been a lot of drama behind the scenes with the surviving family. Now viewers will be able to get an inside look at how they are coping with the loss of the late pop icon and how they are moving forward with their lives.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Lifetime has picked up ten hour-long episodes of a reality show that will follow the lives of Houston's family. The series, 'The Houston Family Chronicles,' promises to document "those closest to the pop music icon as they try to pick up the pieces after her untimely death.”

The series will star Whitney and Bobby Brown's daughter Bobbi Kristina and her grandmother Cissy Houston. However, the main focus will be on the late singer's brother Gary Houston and sister-in-law/manager Pat Houston, as well as their daughter, Rayah.

Houston's cousin Dionne Warwick and family friend CeCe Winans are also expected to appear in the reality show.

According to Lifetime, the show will focus on Pat and Gary as they “take on their greatest challenge, supporting and guiding Bobbi Kristina as she faces the world alone, without the one person she relied on the most, her mother.”

Bobbi Kristina's struggles with the death of her mother has been fodder for the tabloids. From smoking a bong to dating her stepbrother to her substance abuse, Kristina has been a handful for the family.

It would be interesting to see how the Houston family has been dealing with the media scrutiny and family drama that has surrounded them in the past few months. However, there are some who may believe that all of this is morbid and way too soon.

What do you think? Will you be watching 'The Houston Family Chronicles'? Or is it too soon? Tell us in the comments below.
