If you weren't already planning on tuning in for this year's VMAs, MTV has just added a major incentive.

The network announced on Thursday (August 2) that Ariana Grande will perform at the 2018 ceremony, airing Monday, August 20 at 8 p.m. ET. MTV broke the news on Twitter, and Grande confirmed it shortly afterward, writing "see. u. soon. @vmas !!" followed by "nah i'm so f--king excited. love u. thank u sm for having me !"

She also retweeted a VMAs promo featuring a clip from her "God Is a Woman" video, hinting the show might mark the first time she performs the Sweetener track live.

Grande previously performed Sweetener lead single "No Tears Left to Cry" at the Billboard Music Awards in May. She's also taken the VMAs stage multiple times: She opened the show with "Break Free" in 2014, and joined Nicki Minaj for their "Side to Side" collaboration in 2016.

Needless to say, Arianators aren't even trying to hide their chill.

Ariana will be performing giaw at the vmas god has answered my prayers," one fan wrote. Added another: "I’m BUZZING for ariana to do a performance of giaw at the vmas it’s gonna be iconic."

Starting counting down the days, Ariana stans!
