It appears that the recent Will & Grace election-themed reunion clip ignited the desire for a full-on forthcoming revival.

NBC may bring the beloved comedy back to life with a limited run of new episodes, according to TVLine. The network is currently in talks with the show’s principal players, including actors Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes, as well as series creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnik.

And based on past comments made by several of the series' stars, they're all on board to participate.

“The response has been very overwhelming and really, really heartwarming,” Debra Messing said in an interview with PEOPLE shortly after the reunion clip was released.

“If there was a Will & Grace 2.0, my wish is that we did 10 [episodes] on, like, Netflix or Amazon or somewhere where it could be the naughty version of Will & Grace,” she continued. “Because you know we were on network television and there were certain lines of common storytelling that we were limited to so it would be fun to kind of go into that world where nothing is held back.”

Eric McCormack, meanwhile, said that while nothing further was planned at the time, he wouldn’t rule out reviving Will Truman in the future.

“This was the best we could muster right now, just putting all of our talents to grant use before this election,” he said. “I know a lot of people thought, ‘Oh my God, it’s all coming back, it’s starting again,’ but this is what we got today.”

And when asked whether he’d be willing to revisit the show, McCormack said, “Never say never. We’d all be interested to get that call, I think."
