Of all of Lifetime's great mysteries—why your cyberstalker's ex-husband won't seek treatment once he's home from war; where that double-dealing neighbor with a drinking problem gets off thinking she can skirt the terms of her custody agreement—at least one thing is for certain: The much-discussed Kristen Wiig/Will Ferrell project is HAPPENING, people.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Saturday Night Live alums' A Deadly Adoption, a sort-of spoof of overly dramatic thrillers, will officially air on the network on June 20. The flick will find the comedians, who play a husband and wife, taking in a pregnant woman toward the tail-end of her pregnancy so that they they can nail down an adoption arrangement. Naturally, though—as is customary of any of the channel's projects—things definitely do not go as planned. *Dramatic orchestral arrangement/flickers of candlelight*

After the project was leaked in April, the actors jumped to scrap it ("We are deeply disappointed that our planned top secret project was made public. Kristen and I have decided it is in the best interest for everyone to forgo the project entirely," they told EW), but thankfully, things are very much back on track. And, in what is a most distinguished honor, Adoption will hit airwaves on the 25th anniversary of Lifetime's TV-movie projects. Where would we even be without the likes of I Killed my BFF?
