After reports circulated that Mitch Winehouse was not a fan of Beyonce's cover of his daughter's song 'Back to Black,' the Winehouse patriarch is negating that he ever had any bad words to say about Queen B's rendition.

Mitch tweeted:

The man has a point! Why would he hate on Beyonce's cover when it will likely raise beaucoup bucks for the Amy Winehouse Foundation? Tell 'em, Mitch!

The father of the deceased songstress also announced on his Twitter that a new documentary about his daughter is coming soon and will be directed by Asif Kapadia, who made 'Senna,' a documentary about the Brazilian race car driver:

Kapadia and producer James Gay-Rees explained why they were drawn to Winehouse's story saying, "Amy was a once-in-a-generation talent who captured everyone's attention; she wrote and sung from the heart, and everyone fell under her spell. But tragically, Amy seemed to fall apart under the relentless media attention, her troubled relationships, her global success and precarious lifestyle. As a society we celebrated her huge success, but then we were quick to judge her failings when it suited us."

With 'Senna' being such an acclaimed film, we can only predict that Amy's documentary will show fans another dimension of the songstress.
