Wiz Khalifa + A$AP Rocky Talk Pre-Show Inspiration, Freddie Mercury Moments + More [Video]

Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky are on the road for the Under the Influence of Music Tour… And in this video interview, the rappers revealed what they listen to before taking the stage — it’s classics– and much, much more.

The music of Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield and Bootsy Collins is what they use to amp themselves up.

Wiz also recalled his cray cray onstage moment in London, when he was jumping in the air and landed on his knees and then bent backwards in order to let his back touch the ground.

Of his pretzel-like move, the newly-married Wiz said, “I did it and it looked awesome but I couldn’t get up. I needed help. My s— wasn’t right for a couple days after it.”

Adding insult to injury, he didn’t get a picture of the jump, either! So his rock star Freddie Mercury moment wasn’t immortalized.
