Wiz Khalifa Won the High Times Stoner of the Year Award

It's not a Grammy but it will do. Wiz Khalifa was presented with the Stoner of the Year Award from pro-cannabis magazine High Times. Apparently, this honor goes to the best person who was mostly stoned within the past year. Undoubtedly, Wizzy wins that title hands down.

In a YouTube video, a rep from High Times caught up with the 'Black and Yellow' rapper to give him the coveted award -- by way of the iPhone. Yep, that's how they do it. The trophy, not surprisingly, is a statue of a bong. We thought the trophy would look more like a blunt bronzed in gold, but we digress.

Despite not having an actual trophy in his hands, Wiz was happy to accept his doobie-ous honor. As he raised up the iPhone, he gave a very heart-warming acceptance speech. "I would like to thank weed in general," he said. "Low grades, middle grades and high grades because you have to start somewhere." How nice.

He also thanked his mom and fellow pot heads Cheech & Chong, Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, Diplomats, Bone, Thugs-N-Harmony and the late rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. He also thanked his fans who use cannabis for everyday purposes, including those who use it as a facial moisturizer (WTF?). "Whatever you do, this [award] is for you," he said.

Wiz then adds, "I would like to also thank my dad for letting me smoke weed at a very young age even though he didn't want me to. Daddy, I got an award for it!"

Congrats to Wiz Khalifa on his Stoner of the Year honor. Let's hope that next year he can add some golden gramophones next to his bong award.
