FOX is on fire with hit shows right now, with both 'X Factor' and 'Glee' set to hit our TV screens post-summer. So, when does 'X Factor' start in the U.S.?

Simon Cowell and the gang will return with an entire fall of talent on Sept. 21. That means that we'll get to officially meet two contestants who were introduced in a new 8-minute promo, like 13-year-old Rachel Crow who floored the judges with her sass, and 42-year-old single mom Stacy, who rocked '(You Make Me Feel Like a) Natural Woman' and surprised everyone.

Nicole Scherzinger got her start in a similar way, lined up to audition for a show at 4AM, so she says she's ready to lay a little compassion on the hopefuls. As for Simon, he's the same ol' guy we know from 'American Idol,' but L.A. Reid is sure to spice things up, while Paula Abdul will sweeten the pot with her genuine honesty.

Additionally, 'S&M' game-changer Rihanna will show her face as a guest judge on the hit reality show this fall, and Mariah Carey will also get a role on the show's credits, though Cowell says he's not sure how -- just that it will happen.

We can't wait to see what America has in store for us, and we're sure the talent can't either. The grand prize winner with the 'X Factor' will snag a 'measly' $5 million record deal, and also, a starring slot in a Pepsi commercial that will air following Super Bowl XLVI. If that's not a ticket to ride the fast train to success, we don't know what is.

The U.S. edition of 'X Factor' airs Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8PM EST on FOX.
