It's splitsville for She + Him singer and 'New Girl' star Zooey Deschanel and her husband of two years, Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard. Deschanel and Gibbard will now go their separate ways.

The good news -- if there is such a thing in a case like this -- is that there is no third party and no drama, either. The split is reportedly amicable for the super cute and uber indie couple. While Deschanel's career is rocketing to new heights due to the success she is experiencing on the small screen with FOX's hit comedy 'New Girl,' her personal life is taking a bit of a beating with this news. What a bum out. Gibbard's band released 'Codes and Keys' earlier this year, and Death Cab are one of the most revered indie rock bands working today!

"It was mutual and amicable," a source told Us Weekly. That's not gossip mongering, either, as Deschanel's rep confirmed the news of the split with the tabloid, as well.

Deschanel, 31, and Gibbard, 35, married in Seattle in September of 2009. They met via their mutual manager and love blossomed between them.
