Zooey Deschanel Is Pregnant!

Congratulations to Zooey Deschanel! The 'New Girl' actress is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik.

The '500 Days of Summer' star excitedly revealed the news to PEOPLE today (Jan. 13).

"Jacob and I are over the moon," Deschanel gushed to the magazine. "We can't wait to meet our little one." And they won't have to wait too long for baby to make his or her appearance -- the actress is due this summer!

Deschanel, 34, and Pechenik, 42, have been dating since mid-2014. Prior to her relationship with the producer, the 'Elf' actress was married to Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard. The pair divorced in 2012.

We couldn't be happier for soon-to-be parents Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik and their joyous news. Congratulations to the happy couple! We can only hope that baby will rock the same epic bangs as his or her mama.
