It's been almost 15 years, but Derek Zoolander has finally learned that there is, indeed, more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good-looking—and that would be landing the cover of Vogue.

In celebration of the long-awaited sequel's forthcoming release, stars of the film Ben Stiller (as his eternally oblivious Zoolander character) and Penelope Cruz pose for the February 2016 issue of Vogue magazine. Lensed by the maestro herself, Annie Leibovitz, the duo appear in a glossy fashion editorial as their respective characters from the flick—alongside some major models-of-the-moment like Gigi Hadid and Jourdan Dunn—with Stiller-as-Zoolander serving major face: Blue steel. Le tigre. Magnum. The infamous expressions from the 2001 cult fashion comedy are all there.

The cover story is a fourth wall-breaking interview in which Stiller is interviewed both as himself (director and actor) as well as in character as Derek Zoolander. In it, Stiller shares that while he was able to get almost every single celebrity cameo he wanted for the follow-up, there is one fashion behemoth that got away: "We didn’t get Karl Lagerfeld. I would have liked to get Karl. I came close... He's iconic. It breaks my heart."

Nevertheless, celebrities like Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Mika, Benedict Cumberbatch, and more are all slated to appear in cameo roles.

Our only qualm with the hilarious Vogue feature is the absence of Owen Wilson's equally aloof runway foil to Stiller's Zoolander, the golden-coiffed and mononymously-named Hansel.

The sequel was announced back in March when Stiller (as Zoolander) and Wilson (as Hansel) crashed the Valentino runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Zoolander 2 hits the runway- uh, theaters on February 12.
