Big Time Rush’s Carlos Pena, Jr. Dating ‘Spy Kids’ Star Alexa Vega

New couple alert: Carlos Pena, Jr. of Big Time Rush is officially dating actress Alexa Vega. The lovebirds posted a photo of themselves snuggling on Christmas Eve. Don't they look like a cute couple?

Vega, 24, star of the 'Spy Kids' movie franchise, and Pena, 23, have been hanging out at least since November, when they began regularly exchanging Twitter messages. Pena posted a series of images with Vega and the rest of his family on Christmas Eve with the caption, "It's a Pena family Christmas!"

Nickutopia reports that Vega's divorce from 36-year-old film producer Sean Covel was just finalized. The couple split in the summer, citing irreconcilable differences, less than two years after their October 2010 marriage.

Pena was last in the news when he blasted the American Music Awards for not nominating Big Time Rush. He speculated that the group's Nickelodeon show was part of the reason for their lack of support from industry types. That's not stopping him and his bandmates from appearing in an upcoming episode of Nick’s 'Marvin Marvin.'
