EDM Act – Ultimate PopCrush Music Festival of 2013

If a festival happens with no EDM act, is it really a festival at all? We didn't think so -- so we're having you choose your dream dance act for our Ultimate PopCrush Music Festival.

In the EDM scene, Daft Punk is known for their theatrical and over-the-top live shows. There's a reason their 'Alive 2007' album is so well-received -- they are freakin' awesome live! Plus, you may get a surprise visit from Pharrell!

Then there's guys who truly know how to get a party started like David Guetta and Calvin Harris. Between the two of them they have hits for days. Guetta has songs like 'Without You,' 'Turn Me On' and 'Titanium,' with features by Usher, Nicki Minaj and Sia, respectively. If Calvin Harris is your choice, you could see him perform 'Sweet Nothing' featuring Florence Welch and, of course, 'We Found Love,' which became a worldwide hit with Rihanna.

Then there's more dub-step acts like Skrillex and Deadmau5. Skrillex has played a big part in popularizing the genre with tracks like 'Bangarang' and 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.' Deadmau5 has a stage presence that is second to none -- he wears a giant mouse head for crying out loud!

Guys like Zedd and Avicii are relative newcomers to the genre, but can rock a crowd with their high-energy songs. Zedd's 'Clarity' featuring Foxes has reached No.1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart while reaching No.28 at the Billboard Hot 100. Avicii's hit song 'Levels' also reached the top spot on the Dance Club chart, while finding success on both the Hot 100 and Pop charts.

A DJ like Afrojack has many friends in high places -- including Paris Hilton, Pitbull, David Guetta, Chris Brown, so you never know who could show up to party! Afrojack has also worked with Major Lazer -- another artist in the running for EDM Act at our festival. Major Lazer brings a reggae feel to the EDM genre and is mostly the brain child of production genius, Diplo.

Last, there's Tiesto. The guy is the highest-paid EDM artist in the world for a reason. The Dutch native has been doing this whole DJing thing for almost as long as some of these other artists have been alive. You'd definitely get the most bang for your buck with this guy!
