Las Vegas rockers Imagine Dragons have a new album coming out called 'Night Visions,' and in partnership with our sister site Diffuser.fm, PopCrush is excited to present the exclusive premiere of footage from the making of the record.

The behind-the-scenes video includes bits of new songs and clips of the band in the studio. In one revealing snippet, singer Dan Reynolds and guitarist Wayne Sermon work out the parts for an incomplete song. Bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman join them later to record some finished tracks.

Reynolds says, "As a band, you really only get to do your first album once, as silly as that sounds. It lives on with you forever, and everybody knows your first album. You define their sound based off that album." He adds that after a few years of recording together, the group is now ready to release its debut and make that statement to the world.

Imagine Dragons' accessible rock sound is already earning plenty of buzz. They performed on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' earlier this week. Produced by A-lister Alex da Kid, 'Night Visions' arrives on Sept. 4 via Interscope and is available for pre-order now on Amazon.

'Night Visions' is the group's first full-length release, following a handful of EPs, including 'Continued  Silence,' which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart, a ranking of albums by emerging acts. The magazine also chose Imagine Dragons as one of its 'Brightest New Stars' of 2012, along with the likes of Lana Del Rey, Rita Ora and Kimbra.

The group will hit the road in September for an extensive tour with Awolnation. Check out Imagine Dragons on their official website and watch the exclusive studio and interview footage below.
