Jay Sean might've been missing from the music scene for a while, but all of that is about to change with his forthcoming album. Although Jay Sean didn't reveal the name of his upcoming LP -- that has an "R&B feel" while maintaining the "energetic, feel-good" sound his fans have grown to love -- he did however sit down with ClevverMusic to dish some details on the new project, which the 'Down' singer is extremely excited about.

During his interview with ClevverMusic, Jay Sean talked about the legal troubles he encountered while trying to release his album 'Freeze Time,' which he has since "scrapped" and reworked entirely. "Let me tell you what happened. 'Freeze Time,' I cursed myself with it cause it got frozen in time and didn't come out," Jay Sean explained. "So guess what? I've changed the name... I'm over 'Freeze Time.' The album that's coming out, which is done, finito and coming out in a few months, is one million times better than anything I've ever done."

That energetic, feel-good sound that Jay talked about earlier is present on his first single off of the album, a collaboration with Pitbull called 'I'm All Yours.' "I just always want to keep current and make sure that I'm giving my fans the best and the hottest while it's hot," Jay said of his collabo with Mr. 305. "[Pitbull] runs the Top 40 charts, he kills the club, so for me it made sense. A lot of people put on the same shows at the same time because we have a shared fan base. They like my hits and they like his hits and they love to here it all in one go again."

"It's super high energy, but romantic," Jay said of 'I'm All Yours,' his upcoming single. "It's not the traditional  "throw your hands up in the sky," "pop bottles"…. It's none of that stuff. I mean, it's been done a million times, there's only so many ways. It's a romantic song, but it's got that high energy. We just shot the video in Miami. It was absolutely incredible."
