JoJo Returns to Top 10 of Billboard 200 After a Decade With ‘Mad Love’
The resilient 25-year-old pop superstar, who kicked off her career in her early teens with smashes like "Leave (Get Out)" and "Too Little, Too Late" followed by nearly a decade-long series of conflicts and legal battles with her former record label, is shining bright once again in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 at No. 6 this week.
Prior to Mad Love, JoJo last appeared on the Billboard 200 with The High Road at No. 3 one full decade ago in 2006, which followed her No. 4-peaking 2004 self-titled debut.
The album landed at the top spot on the Billboard 200 with 25,000 album equivalent units sold (19,000 in traditional sales), according to the official chart organization.
Mad Love's lead single, "F--k Apologies" with Wiz Khalifa, also climbed into the Top 40 on the US Pop Digital Songs Chart back in August. Mad Love follows her III 3-part single EP ("tringle") released in 2015, meant to reintroduce herself to the public following her new record deal with Atlantic Records.
