'Tis an exciting time to be a Little Monster. (And damn it, it's about time, Stefani.)

Lady Gaga's "Perfect Illusion" is here — the first taste of new non-soundtrack, non-Tony Bennett music since 2014's underrated ARTPOP smash "G.U.Y.," and the dawn of a new era in Mother Monster's rapidly expanding repertoire.

It's time now to grab our Koons balls, put our motherf--king paws up and prepare ourselves, both mentally and physically, for a new chapter in the Gagagraphy. (We're just going with LG5 until we get an official title.)

LG5 now has a title: Joanne.

During an interview on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe on September 15, Gaga revealed the Mark Ronson-executive produced album is called Joanne, and will be released on October 21.

BloodPop teased a few more details about Gaga's upcoming music.

In an interview with Rolling Stone for their fall album preview, Bloodpop revealed Gaga's upcoming fifth studio album is "soul-rooted, but pop at heart." He also hinted that "Perfect Illusion" is "a big rock song that makes you want to dance."

"They started at noon and wrote into the night. Every few days, a lyric would change and it would get better and better," he added.

A music video for "Perfect Illusion" already happened.

See?

Mark Ronson is collaborating heavily with Gaga — and talking about it. A lot.

The "Uptown Funk" superstar producer keeps dishing, ever so slightly, about Gaga's new "analog" sound.

"She's kind of a muso at heart. She’s the happiest when she’s sitting at a piano barking orders at the drummer, and I don’t think that’s the side of her the world has seen. They’ve seen the massive pop singles and tours and dance numbers, so it’s really great to make this very honest, authentic, analog kind of record with her," he revealed back in May to Charlie Rose.

“I can’t really get into it too much — I’m not trying to be coy, but I feel like it’s not my place. When the time’s right to tell the story, I feel like she should tell it. But it’s some of my favorite music I’ve really ever worked on. It’s incredible — I love it," he told Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio in August. “I can’t wait until you can hear it because the music speaks for itself — some of my favorite musicians of all time are working on it.”

"Perfect Illusion" is out in September.

This much we know is true, officially. But due to some Monster super-sleuthing, we already can all but confirm that Mark Ronson posted a photo back in May inside the studio with Gaga alongside Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker and Justin Bieber‘s “Sorry” co-producer, Bloodpop. The caption? "Illusion," of course.

"She’s full of passion. Everything is meaningful” Kevin Parker said of Gaga in a July interview.

She's reunited with RedOne, and they've got plenty of songs together already.

The "Just Dance" producer is set to reunite yet again with Mother Monster eight years after her debut, confirming that he's done "eight great songs" with Gaga to People in July. It's not confirmed if any of them made the album, but c'mon — she's yet to release a LP without at least one RedOne moment.

Longtime admirer Elton John's heard some of the music — and he's involved as well.

During a Beats 1 radio interview back in January, the music icon revealed that he'd heard new Gaga while working in the studio with her. "I'm writing with Gaga tomorrow, she's doing a new record. I've heard two songs which are killer, they're just great songs, it's like back to the early stuff of hers: 'Yoü and I' and the Bruce Springsteen 'Bad Romance'," he explained.

At some point later on, a song popped up in the BMI repertoire registered by both Gaga and Elton John, called "Room In My Heart."

And you can expect a cameo from Nile Rodgers, too.

The Chic disco legend was short and sweet about his work with Gaga in an interview back in May with The Guardian: "I can tell you one thing — it’s funky." She's going to be on the new Chic album as well. (Consider it full circle: Gaga covered Chic's "I Want Your Love" for Tom Ford last year.)

The album's almost surely out by the end of the year.

Fuse reports that the album "is indeed due out this fall, although a proper release date has yet to be set" according to "multiple sources." It's a fair guesstimate considering the trajectory of 2013's ARTPOP — "Applause" arrived in August, followed by the album in November.

There may be some "chaos" involved — and possibly the Butterfly Effect.

The word "chaos" keeps popping up on Gaga's Instagram, and Little Monsters are getting out their magnifying lenses as a result. Some fans think that she's using it to refer to chaos theory and the idea of The Butterfly Effect. This tweet below sums it up quite well with potential Instagram caption and emoji receipts.
