Multi-tasker Lady Gaga wants a guest spot on TV's half-hour comedy 'Modern Family,' which stars Sofia Vergara. Gaga is reportedly a huge fan of the series, but actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who stars on the hit show, said that he fears it would be nearly impossible to incorporate a superstar of Gaga's magnitude into the script in seamless fashion.

On his April 6 appearance on 'Live With Regis and Kelly,' Ferguson revealed that Gaga "reached out and she wanted to do something with the show but [adds], how do you incorporate Lady Gaga into 'Modern Family?'" Hey, if Britney Spears and Katy Perry can guest on separate episodes of 'How I Met Your Mother,' it's entirely possible and plausible for the show's writers to get uber-creative and work Gaga into the episode -- whether she plays herself or otherwise! It would certainly be a boost in ratings.

Whether or not Gaga herself steps on the set, the show will feature Gaga in spirit, as part of a story arc on an upcoming episode. "Mitchell, my character, wants to go to the Lady Gaga concert, and Cameron is supposed to go with me but he's sick in bed and he's expecting me to stay home and take care of him," Ferguson explains. "And so I kind of, maybe, drug him a little bit so I can sneak out and go to the concert."
