Thing Named After Lady Gaga: Aleiodes gaga - a small wasp found in Thailand and named after Ma Monster

We're not quite sure why researchers at the University of Thailand named this particular species of wasp after Lady Gaga. Do they think she's a pest and named their new discovery accordingly? Do they think she's so good it's dangerous? Were they just out for global attention knowing Mother Monster's smallest moves get crazy recognition? Do they think Gaga's outrageous outfits are insect-like in nature?

Well, whatever their intentions were, the name of this insect makes Lady Gaga forever immortal -- at least in insect studies. Perhaps, Mother Monster should consider changing her fan base name to the Little Honey Bees. Just a thought!
