Rixton
Childhood friends Jake Roche and Charley Bagnall first teamed up to form a band after finishing school in their hometown of Manchester, England. Then, they joined forces with Danny Wilkin and Lewi Morgan to form Relics, which would later be changed to Rixton shortly after the band’s inception in 2012. The English pop-rock four-piece began garnering attention for their covers and a parody of popular songs of the time, all of which they shared on their YouTube channel. The band released their debut single, “Me and My Broken Heart,” in 2014 to positive reception. After the song’s success, Rixton followed up with an EP of the same name later that year. The boys made their full-length debut with Let the Road in early 2015.
