Tinashe to Join Katy Perry on South American Tour

Tinashe is coming to Brazil! And a few other places in South America, too.

Just a few weeks after wrapping up her opening slot on Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint tour -- which actually ends tonight (August 19) at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta -- she’ll get a chance to catch her breath for a few short weeks before hitting the road again with Katy Perry.

Beinning at the end of September (specifically September 29), Tinashe will open for Katy on select dates during the South American leg of her Prismatic World tour, which is still going strong, by the way.

Katy announced the news earlier today (August 19) via a post on Instagram. With a caption full of emojis she wrote, "CURITIBA TO COSTA RICA - I'm excited to get [dance emoji] [wine emoji] [wink emoji] 2 ON [wink emoji] [wine emoji][dance emoji] with the dope @tinashenow opening select dates on the South American leg of the#PrismaticWorldTour!"

The dates Tinashe is set to join Katy are below.

September 29 — Curitiba, Brazil — Pedreira Paulo Leminsky
October 3 — Buenos Aires, Argentina — Hippodromo De Palermo
October 6 — Santiago, Chile — Pista Atletica
October 12 — San Juan, Puerto Rico — Coliseo de Puerto Rico — SOLD OUT
October 15 — Panama City, Panama — Figali Center
October 18 — San Jose, Costa Rica — Parque Viva
