12-Year-Old Emily Michalak Soars Singing Snow Patrol on ‘X Factor’

The last performance on tonight's episode of 'X Factor' had contestants like Emily Michalak, Makenna & Brock, and the Stereo Hoggz performing Snow Patrol's 'Run.' In case you aren't familiar with Snow Patrol, they are a five-piece alternative rock band whose other hits include tracks like 'Chasing Cars.'

During the Snow Patrol performance, Emily Michalak blew us away with her huge vocals. It is unbelievable that she is only 12 years old -- the tween sounds like she has been doing this forever! Makenna & Brock, 22 and 18, respectively, were also great, harmonizing together during the anthemic indie rock ballad. The Stereo Hoggz were also pretty good as they sang for the judges.

We will have to wait until tomorrow to see who the judges choose for their teams. Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger will narrow the group down from 100 to 32, with each judges choosing eight people to coach and mentor throughout the next few rounds of 'X Factor.'
