Was there a pop music moment that really stuck out in your mind this year? Well, in this category for our 2011 PopCrush Music Awards, we provide readers with seven of our biggest headlines of the year. We decided on the seven finalists according to the most viewed articles or the most talked about stories in a variety of popular genres. After reading all of the choices (you can click on the bolded links to read the original stories), pop music lovers can vote on what they deemed the biggest headline of 2011.

Kicking off our nominees for biggest headlines of 2011 is Beyonce's pregnancy announcement at the VMAs. Next up is the rumor that 'American Idol' competitors Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina were an item. Justin Bieber was also accused of fathering a child, and vocal goddess Adele underwent throat surgery after canceling a slew of live shows. You can't forget the fact that Jennifer Lopez announced she was divorcing Marc Anthony, either. Finally, Ludacris had some verbal beef with Drake and Big Sean, and Lady Gaga opened the VMAs in drag as her male alter ego Jo Calderone (and stayed in character for the rest of the show). Last but certainly not least was the devastating death of Grammy-winning soul crooner, Amy Winehouse.

Which headline do you think deserves to win the title of the biggest of 2011? Cast your vote below! You have until Jan. 1, 2012 at 11:59PM EST to vote, and we will announce the winner on Jan. 2.
