It looks as though the 'TODAY' show is desperately grasping to regain the top morning show slot, and lucky for us they are doing it with a killer lineup for their annual Summer Concert Series.

The 'Today' concert series will kick off with fun. on May 24 and wrap up on Aug. 30 with Chris Brown. In the past, acts like Breezy and One Direction have brought record-breaking crowds into Rockefellar Plaza, so we can be sure to see much of the same this year if not more people! With One Direction really blowing up in the United States this year, we would imagine they have a chance to jam pack Directioners in the plaza like sardines! Anything to get a glimpse of Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis, and Liam, right?

Maroon 5 and Fall Out Boy are seasoned 'Today' show veterans, having performed there in 2011 and 2009, respectively. But 2013's concert series is bringing with it some new faces, namely Ed Sheeran and 'American Idol' winner Phillip Phillips; both have performed on the show, but this is their first Summer Concert Series.

Pop music fans will also be treated to a triumvirate of boy bands when NKOTB, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men take the stage on May 31. Hold on to your hats, ladies!

If this concert series is any indication, this is going to be one heck of a summer!
