One of the most coveted Grammy Awards is the honor of Best New Artist. Signifying the best upcoming talent, the winner of the trophy usually goes on to lead an amazing musical career. 2014's nominees cover a variety of genres, including rap and country. James Blake, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore + Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves and Ed Sheeran are all up for the award. Who do you think should win Best New Artist?

Singer-songwriter James Blake has been releasing music since 2011, but is starting to gain a following with songs like 'Life Round Here' and 'Limit to Your Love.' Much like fellow nominee Ed Sheeran, James has mastered the art of crafting songs designed to tug at your heartstrings.

Kendrick Lamar is still riding the success of debut studio album, 'good kid, m.A.A.d. city.' The artist is nominated for a whopping seven Grammys this year! Tracks like 'Swimming Pools (Drank)' and 'Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe' earned his a spot as one of the top hip-hop acts of 2013.

There's no doubt that 2013 was Macklemore + Ryan Lewis' year. From his party-friendly 'Thrift Shop' to the catchy-as-heck 'Can't Hold Us,' the rapper and producer were everywhere. We still have their powerful performance of 'Same Love' at the 2013 MTV VMAs embedded in our minds.

Kacey Musgraves is a force to be reckoned with in the country world! She's written for powerhouse Miranda Lambert, but if the 2013 CMAs were any indication, she's got a successful career as a singer ahead of her! Kacey is up for three Grammys, but we definitely think she's earned the right to collect Best New Artist.

Ed Sheeran rose from a YouTube sensation to a Taylor Swift collaborator. The laid-back singer appealed to listeners with hits like 'The A Team' and 'Lego House.' He's also penned tracks for a boy band you might know called One Direction.

Who do you think should win Best New Artist? You can vote for your favorite once an hour until the polls close at 7:59PM ET on January 26, 2014.
