5 Seconds of Summer unknowingly sent a subset of their fan base into the open arms of children's music group The Wiggles, after a recent tour announcement was met with outrage.

During last week's ARIA Awards, the pop-punk four-piece announced that their upcoming 2016 tour will expand to their native Australia. The problem? 5SOS' fall tour covers a scant three dates in their home country — spanning only major cities Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney — and it upset a slew of Australian fans. But rather than stew in their own misery, fans promptly abandoned the quartet for a more family-friendly foursome.

Fans quickly realized The Wiggles upcoming Australian shows cover more cities than 5SOS' three-date tour, so they got the hashtag #thewiggleshavemoreaustraliandatesthan5sos trending on Twitter, giving life to a new Internet joke.

5SOS have yet to respond to the hashtag or the upset, but The Wiggles took notice, tweeting, "Our current Aussie tour is going to Tassie/Perth/Adelaide/Melbourne/Canberra/Wollongong/Newcastle/Sydney/Brissy so the hashtag is true!"

Anthony Field — known to the general public as the Blue Wiggle — spoke about their new fan base in an interview with Buzzfeed. He said, "We love the 5SOS boys! We’re both four-piece Aussie bands that started in Western Sydney. We realize they’re having trouble getting to the other Aussie cities so we’d like to offer them unlimited use of the Big Red Car… As long as they refill it at the end of the tour.”

We leave you with an important question: Are you Team 5SOS or Team Wiggles?
