Adele Performs Smash Hit ‘Rolling in the Deep’ on ‘DTWS’

While the kids of 'Glee' were offering their take on Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' last night, the song's original performer was busy belting out the tune on 'Dancing With the Stars.'

'Rolling in the Deep' is the song that just won't go away, and with good reason -- the singer's soulful pipes are irresistible.

On 'DTWS,' Adele had a live band and backup singers that helped to faithfully re-create the richness of the track. While she sang, bright-colored spotlights lit up the stage and two couples danced sensually to the tune. Fortunately, she didn't seem the slightest bit distracted by the recent news of her ex's royalty demands.

'Rolling in the Deep' has just ascended to the No. 1 position on Billboard's Digital Songs tally, making it the most legally-downloaded song in the country, with nearly 300,000 purchases last week.

Adele's '21' remains the No. 1 album in the country, for a seventh week.
