When Amy Winehouse left this earth on July 23, just a couple months shy of her 28th birthday, her massive fan base, friends and family members were absolutely devastated. Winehouse had famously struggled with addiction in the past, but according to close sources, she was trying to kick her habit before she passed away from an over-consumption of alcohol.

Winehouse was truly a one-of-a-kind songstress, with a soulful, raw voice that cannot be imitated -- she truly felt every word she sang and wrote. Even if her death came far too soon, this Grammy-winning singer's legacy will live on through the beautiful music she created on albums like 'Frank,' 'Back to Black' and her posthumous release 'Lioness.' Her family is also ensuring that her memory will live on through their formation of the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
