Ariana Grande + Nathan Sykes Hit the Studio in ‘Almost Is Never Enough’ Video

Subscribe to PopCrush on

‘Almost Is Never Enough,’ the Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes of the Wanted collabo, hit the web yesterday and now the sweet video is upon us.

The track appears on ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ movie soundtrack and on Grande’s debut ‘Yours Truly,’ so it makes sense that the video mixes film footage with lots of shots of the lovely Grande.

We focused on the Grande x Sykes footage.

In the clip, Grande is in a studio booth, laying down her vocals, looking pretty and femme, even with a pair of headphones crushing her curls.

There are split screens and voyeuristic vantage points, giving the viewer a look inside the booth. Then Grande and Sykes come together, recording in a booth and displaying an easy, delightful musical chemistry.

It’s an intimate view of the recording process and of the warmth and hugs between two singers.
